Judith Agar is responsible for the efficient administration of Imaginatives Group, overseeing compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements and ensuring that the decisions of the Board of Directors are fully implemented.
Judith was formerly Company Secretary of award-winning fuel cell technology company Intelligent Energy, where she also led the company’s marketing and communications team.
Judith has a Masters degree from Edinburgh University in German and Russian. After graduating, she spent seven years at Midland Montagu (now part of HSBC Bank), holding a number of roles in commercial corporate banking, including two years as Credit and Risk Manager at Trinkaus& Burkhardt in Germany, before going back into further education, taking an MBA at Cranfield University School of Management.
She subsequently joined global management consultants AT Kearney, working on development and restructuring strategies for sovereign governments and major corporations.
Major projects included cost reductions at a BP chemicals plant in Germany; a supply chain and logistics study for Sasol and the development of an economic growth strategy for Bahrain. More recently, after a career break, Judith has been Head of Management Services for Virgin Money, which has now merged with Clydesdale and Yorkshire Bank as a new generation pathfinder bank in Britain.
In addition to her academic qualifications, Judith has professional qualifications from the Chartered Institute of Bankers, the Association of Corporate Treasurers and the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
